Default Moving to the Springs.... where to wheel

Looks like the wife and I will be moving down to the springs at the end of April... I am not super familiar with the trails down south with having wheeled mostly west and north trails. Are there any reasonable trails in the area that I can run in my Rubicon without having to drive up north every time? I'll still be coming on runs when my schedule allows no matter where they are, just looking for places closer to home when the wife and I might want to venture out on short notice.

There are a lot; the traditional gulches, south side of Rampart Range system, Mt. Baldy, Eagle Rock, Saran Wrap, etc. Hwy 24 west will take you to many decent trails. The folks from that area can help a lot more, just thought I would give a primer.

In addition to the above - heading out hwy 24 towards BV provides access to the Miners Loop trails such as Hancock, Tincup, Tomicchi etc. And you are close to China Wall. Lots of options.
