Default Illinois Gulch/Little Moab (Sat 3/17)

    Posted on Calendar...sign-up here:
    http://www.frontrange4x4.com/forums/...&day=2018-3-17

Considering this as a sort of 'unofficial' anniversary run to keep the spirit of a March snow run around.
Any questions ask here. Guessing this will be a bit of a relaxed day exploring the network of trails and some time spent on the Little Moab obstacle.

Here is the MVUM for the area:

Its still 5 days out - but weather is looking good for this coming Sat run to Lil Moab. Westcreek CO forecast to be around high of 50. Looks like we have a pretty good turn-out (9 current 'yes'). If the weather forecast continues to hold - bring some food and lunch-camp/chair/picnic stuff (and a good jacket) and we can probably hang out at the moab obstacle for a bit eating and watching. Looking forward to it...

Turn-out keeps getting bigger - up to 12 'yes'. Should be a great run - might have to break up into some smaller groups. There are lots of trails in the network to accomodate.
Large groups have a way of taking more time to get organized - so the 8:30 Sedalia Conoco group please be as timely as possible (8:30) so we can get on the road and meet the rest of the group at RF at 10am. With good weather and easy to moderate trails - it should be a great day to bring family, food et al. Looking forward to it!

Dang. I was thinking of joining in since I haven’t wheeled with ya in forever Phil.

I just put my exhaust back on today and the Jeep is running so much better so thinking I may run down tomorrow morning. I should be able to get to Sedalia around 8

    LOL
Yeah thought of that but it is a steady stream now. Pretty much like a main vein, it's a gusher. Can't take the chance anyway, it's gotta get me and all my stuff to texas. The thing that gets me is why did it take so long to reveal itself ?? Hadn't been wheeling for so long and can't even remember when I bashed it.
But wow it stinks !!!!!! I had my lunch ready and everything I need for the run packed already

Maybe hitch a ride with someone coming from that direction? Or go get a tube of gasket maker and some oil and hit the road just the same.
