well taxes....only if you volunteer to pay them!
section 83 of the tax code states your labor is not taxable!

"compensation rendered for services rendered is not considered gross income and is not taxable under section 1 of the tax code"

the W4 is a voluntary contract!

Hi Jackie, you can guess I’d recommend a 4Runner too, mine has the V8 and 215,000 miles and is pretty typical. Getting a bit beat up but reliable as can be.

Sorry, the above is just so I don’t go off-topic. On our 4th day of driving and will pull in to our friends place in Naples, FL in less than an hour. This is a pleasure trip we take every year but this year we’re checking it out as a place to live too. Seeing if living at sea level is easier on my breathing than altitudes of CO. If you can take a minute with your rundown of the pros & cons of living in FL I’d appreciate it.

(Yeah, I know about all the old people, I’m one of them )

Anyone else that’s lived in FL is welcome to chime in too!

    TIA!

Thanks Chris. Appreciate the vote for a 4Runner. We bought one yesterday. Details and pics to come!

As for Florida... I'll be happy to talk to you about our experiences there and how we saw it change over the 18 years we lived there. Pros and cons. You can call me any time, but I'll also write you a summary and post in a new thread. Enjoy your time in Naples. Sorry you missed the snowfall we're getting now (or maybe I should say you're lucky you missed it)

No pics yet. Bought it last Saturday, parked it in the garage. On Sunday, plowed the snow and had nowhere to go, so there it sat. Britton took it to the airport Monday morning as he had to leave for work in San Jose and it won't be back until this coming Saturday. I haven't driven it yet nor have I even ridden in it!!!! Its a 2016 SR5. Stock. Red with black interior and just under 30K miles. Looks very nice!

Pretty boring story as told above. Maybe after I drive it I'll have more to say, but what I'M REALLY excited about is the fact that Britton will no longer have an excuse to take my Jeep!!! I'm hoping to convince him to take it out on some scenic, easy trails this spring. Maybe he'll catch the off-road bug after all!!! He loves the trails on his dirt bike so maybe...

Nice choice, I’m sure Britton will be very happy with it! Great color combo too!

Get him to go with you on a coup,e of your favorite trails, he’ll find out very quickly how capable it is as it sits now.

He will likely need to find one without a sunroof for the extra headroom. Our 2016 4 Runner has the sunroof and I have a hard time keeping my head off the ceiling at 6'3". I end up reclining back further than I'd like.

Jackie now you have to bring your jeep and the 4runner to the anniversary run!
    time to prove it exists
as well I still have yet to see your jeep!

congrats on the new ride Britton.
    toys are great rigs.
I wish they would build a basic no frills solid axle front and rear hilux again!
The only other rig I would have considered other than my new JKURR

I've been on many of the Anniversary runs! I was there last year when we held it in June. Where were you?!!!
