Default Recommend LED headlights for TJ / LJ

The headlights on my LJ aren't very good, and one of them has a hole that seems to be from a rock strike. I'm considering replacing them with LED headlight modules in January. I see many options on the market. I found some that I think I'd like to purchase, but I'd like to get any first-hand feedback before I prime the comments by stating which ones I'm considering.

Do any of you run LED headlamps in a TJ / LJ? Which ones?
    Are heated LED lamps worthwhile?

I've heard good things from Truck-Lite but can't give any personal experience. I have Rampage H2 conversion headlights on my truck and they were a significant improvement over stock so maybe look into those as well if you want to save some money.

Not sure what options you are looking at but I will say none of the LED replacement bulbs seem to work worth a damn in a headlight. The reflector needs to be designed to work with LEDs.

I think heated headlamps are a good idea if you drive in the snow (LED does not make much heat so they tend to ice over easier than halogen).

Not LED's, but I went with these and can say they are a big improvement over stock. Plus they are plug and play.

Yeah, agree. The parts I'm looking at are new reflector & bulb assemblies. I think that solves the reflector issue.

These are much cheaper than LEDs, I'll keep them in mind.

I have the IPF H2 conversion in my TJ, they have been great for years.

I considered these but they are not heated and now I am selling the TJ anyways. I know someone who has them and he says they are great.

Factory bro.....you should see the difference in the lights I have now vs. the ones in my TJ.

2016 was the last year of dull light in a Jeep!

Only issues with led is no heat in front so snow don't melt off....

Truck-Lite makes a heated version, heater turns on automatically at a set temp. I have eyed them and will go with them at some point. They come with the anti-flicker resistor to work with Canbus as well.

I got some take-off JK housings, then got Auxbeam LED bulbs and am very happy with the setup.

The factory stuff is nice. Yet no heat but still nice.

I've not had problems with them icing over, but it's not my DD, so my experience is limited. I do run the same brand bulbs in my Subaru and while they don't melt as fast as incandescent bulbs, I've not had to do more than brush them off (along with the windshield) before getting in.
