Default Longwater & Hackett Gulch II

Today was a fun one with Rob, Jess, Joe, Barry, Kelly, and Dylan.

There was a lot more snow than I anticipated, it definitely added to the challenge.

Longwater rock looked too sketchy so we turned around there at the slab.

During that turn around process I noticed Dylan didn't have enough white light coming from his rear taillight, so I fixed that good, like, real good!

After that, Hackett ended up being a great trail with rock slabs that were nice and dry.

My picture taking was really slack, but I have to give props to Rob's 4Runner today, it was doing some work in that snow!

Looking forward to the next one as always gang!

Glad it was a good day, sorry I couldn’t make it after all.

Thanks for setting this up Aaron! Had a great time and gained a lot of confidence in the 4runner. Took a look under the truck to look for any issues from the trail and discovered a set of Bilstein 5100's down there, how about that.

Here are a few pictures from the trip.

Photo 12 of 12 is one of the spots I had to dig down to dirt to get up it (several attempts but it did it). Airing down to the 20's made a big difference on Hackett after lunch though. Don't think we would have made it with out the rear locker.
