    We're in!

Just a bit concerned with some of the obstacles shown on the trail links. If the general consensus is my stock 4runner will make it out and back home, I'm fine with it. We don't have a winch, but we do have straps and and locker in the rear.

It's been a month since our last run, we had a brand new 4Runner clear all obstacles but I'm thinking he was lifted on 33's. I'll ping him to see what he thinks. He may want to run with us too.

I've seen quite a few stockers run the gulches, Land Rover 3 with highway tires, took the hardest lines with me all day, surprised the hell out of me.

Definitely want you to be comfortable though.

Here's the report from last run. Only two of us that day: This obstacle is the hardest one of all of them.

The Gobbler, what do you think?

I think a stock 4Runner could do them. I would only be a little concerned with Hackett. I may be out of town, but if not, I will go.

It's really hard to get an idea of scale from pictures. It looked like Hackett Rock was kinda challenging and sketchy without sliders in some pics I found.

The several feet of air under the rear in the 4r looks interesting.

I have Cooper Discoverer ATP in 265/70/17 that came on the rig, seems like this is a 31.42" OD tire.

With a spotter who knows the line to take, I think we have a pretty good shot at making it.

There is an easier way than the way I took. I only have 31.5's (with 3 inch lift). As long as you're not going alone, you'll be ok with a little spotting as you indicated.

Is the long water trailhead the same as the Hackett bunch trailhead?

Longwater is a bit North of Hackett, Metberry is just north of that. The links in the post above or in the calendar entry will give the coordinates for each which can be mapped for reference.

I'm in. I'm looking forward to wheeling this area, I've been all over it on a dirt bike, so this will be a fun change of perspective!

I'll be heading up 285 to 126 and then over through West Creek to the trailhead if anyone wants to caravan from the Denver/Lakewood/Littleton area.

For you it's faster to go santa Fe to sadaila and over from rampart to the river.
Brings you out at the 3 way for at Decker's.
You want to go through sherrwood.
Up to you if you go left or right at sherrwood.
We go left up and over to avoid the fishing traffic.
