Ok so I will be back in town late Saturday afternoon.
Aspen sucks......I need some more wheeling time!
Who is up for a early Sunday run?
Got to do early as we have birthday dinner plans.
Monday is my 44th.
Wish I was in town I would put together a Saturday birthday run

I'm 46 so MUCH older ... lol

i might be interested as long as I can replace my rear passenger control arm bolt where it bolts to the rear axle. It's a little loose and the nut is frozen so I can't loosen or tighten it. Have tried with ratchets but plan to try with breaker bar and propane torch on Saturday! Don't wanna wheel until I get this torques correctly and I have replacement hardware in case I break it

A nice impact gun will do the trick.

I have basic tools, sockets and ratchets and wrenches.... No impact gun at my disposal. Just picked up a propane torch today at AutoZone..... going to heat that sucker up on Saturday and use 2 breaker bars (working from under the jeep in my driveway). I've been soaking it in PB Blaster for the last few days and will continue spraying it down until the weekend. I tried cracking this last weekend and the weekend before with just hand-held ratchets and I think thats how I tweaked my back ... and it didn't budge either ;-(

Back is feeling a little better so hopefully by the weekend it's good so I can get this done.

If I get this done on Saturday, I'm interested in an early morning run on Sunday

Sunday morning might be possible, but i would be starting from Southpark instead of Castle Rock. China Wall? Slaughterhouse? I will keep an eye on the post to see where it goes.

There is a slim possibility, I'll link up with you guys. We've got a big run on the 11th. We have about 80 rigs going out on Saturday for the Wheelers for the Wounded of Colorado Veteran's Day Trail Run. Going to be down doing Hackett Gulch. So it really depends what time I get back from the Springs and how much we do with the after run party. If it is not to late a night and I don't feel like crap in the morning I should be able to make it. We did the wall (or at least tried to) for the club picnic. It was so crowded that it was more like a wall to wall parking lot.

Looking like the "might be possible" is getting slimmer, but will know for sure tomorrow.

It shouldn't be too crowded this time of year. The anniversary run was not too long after the trail opened for the season so a lot of people were out. I was up there a year ago October and saw a total of 3 vehicles and 2 ATV's that Saturday.

Sounds like you have a busy day on Saturday for sure David, and for a good cause!

Condition were nice.
