I do have to say I could be talked into a 2019 Turbo Diesel JL.

Never folded mine down and really don't see the appeal. The only benefit I see to it that it's easy to replace should the sheet metal get damaged and makes building a cage slightly easier.

    I agree with this completely.
    Have never folded one down.
    Not even a 1952 M38A1.
Don't know about you all but I don't like bugs in my face. Thus why I don't have a motorcycle.
Nice the factory has kept the fold down as it's part of the appeal for some.
I know Paul puts his down often. But he is really the only one I know who does.
And buggy runs we always had helmets and glasses or goggles on.

So I do like the change with the windshield.
Looks to be way easy and leaves the A pillar in place!
Say this in the pics but you never know tell it's produced.

This is long, but it really shows all the interesting upgrades in the JL and is a very complete review. It's awesome, I really want one, but my LJ has this also awesome "paid for" quality to it... If you ever wheel with the windshield down I think you'll like it too. If you have a TJ / LJ the four footman loops infront of the backseat are for the rollbar extensions that connect to the windshield frame, they come off and strap down there. I replaced all needed torx bolts with hexheads and have a small bag in my console with a stubby ratchet and two sockets. I can fold it down and up pretty fast, but the JL looks even faster.

and this one shows the 2dr Rubicon- made for 35s with no lift!
