Default Picked up a 2004 Rubicon

I've been wanting something more purpose built for wheelin', especially after hitting the limits of my full size (but super bad ass) Ram Rebel. So, today I traded my old daily driver Pontiac G8 GT for a 2004 Rubicon with a 4" lift and 34" Nitto Trail Ridge tires! Didn't get any pictures before it starting getting dark but here's a shot with my Ram and Rubicon!

of course I had to test out the 4 wheel low and crawl up some slippery chunky rocks with lockers engaged..... did not dissapppoint! I'll post more pics tomorrow when it's light out

CANT WAIT TO TAKE HER WHEELIN'

    Nice ride man.
Better suited to tight trails here.
Hope we see you out on the trails.

I love wheelin in my Ram but I found myself cringing in the tight areas and after seeing some Jeeps easily crawl thru spots that my Ram barely made it thru unscathed, I decided I want a rig that can go almost anywhere so I had to get a Rubicon

    Definitely need sliders. Any recommendations?

Winch will be added soon also!

So, you want to go run T-33a tomorrow to be one of those jeeps easily zig-zagging through the tree funnel.

    Build them.
I liked the ones on my '04 they covered the rockers to just short of the doors and we'll under the body.
TJ has a lot of room under them for mounting as well for protection.
I have a set already made just need the mounting to the frame done.
Would pass them on for $100.
Can clean them up for you and have them ready tomorrow afternoon.

Lol Jim, I thought of doing T33a tomorrow also! But sadly tomorrow is booked because Monday we leave for Texas road trip in a rental Suburban for a food show (work). I won't be able to go wheelin for over a week .... it's all I'll be able to think about

dieseldock, do you have any pictures? How hard would it be to mount?

I like the TNT sliders because they protect the body mounts. There might be some other brands that do as well.

I will get you pics and they shouldn't be tough.
    Just needs a little work
They come off my Sami when it got stripped....devorce so it's in 5 states!
They will need the legs to the frame done but they are
2x4x.250 doved at the ends. So you can definitely use them the for rubbing on the rocks.
Aaron could help you get them mounted.

I would but I will be back n Aspen tell the end of October.
Dag job is killing the machines and tooling.
