    Default Mud loop

Bryce and I had a great time today on some new trails. It was fun to see all those Jeeps splash in the Mud. Sorry no action photos of that though.
Brandon and Therese's new Rubicon is one mean machine.
See you all on the trail soon

Just got home - thanks for a great day all. Sorry Matt missed out on his trail suggestion, and it certainly would have been entertaining to see his big truck navigate some of those tight spots. Got to take care of the pets and get to bed - will see what we have for pics in the next day or two. Hope all of you found some fresh air to breathe on the way home after following the old jeep for a bunch of it...and here's to more damage occurring on the washboard exit road than on the trail!

`twas a nice day out. Now I know... what Bald Mountain is like (bumpier than I prefer, though fortunately where FunTreks lists red there are sections that should be blue or green). Still yet to check out Green Ridge.

The forest fire haze is pronounced.

Matt - you might not want your full size on either Sevenmile Creek (pin striping) or Bald Mountain (zig-zag through trees where I needed to 3-point through) or rocker panel dents. The old jeep - it'd be perfect!

    We had a great day.
Thank you all for putting together a wonderful day to get the new ride dirty!
And dirty it is. Even her purse has dust INSIDE it!
We look forward to wheel with you all more.
Once work in Aspen is done I will have more time to wheel.
6 days a week is tough....but has allowed me to do what I did.

Thank you all for the complements.
It is a great new tool for the job!
The job of destrees me is a big one.

Jim thank you for keeping up on The maps and such.
James thank you for the trail plan.
Have thought about Bald mtn a free times.
    Now we know.
And so good to see that old odd fire Iron out and about again.
    What broke?

Speaking of trail Carnage, we blew a shock.
    Due to poor install.
The dealer has the truck to fix that, as well I guess I am missing a ProCal to fix the speedometer and stablitrac stuff.....this crap come on as we want down the freeway, tried to stop the Jeep at 70!
Chris and Bryce, good to see the 2 of you. We look forward to more.
Bryce nice pictures you take little man.
Tyler- welcome and a please to wheel with you.
    Nice ride you got.

We had 2yj's an old cj, a pathfinder, a TJ, and out JKUR recon.
Nice mix of rides and fun had by all!

Agreed - although a bit jeep heavy. But I do really like Chris' pathfinder.

Nothing that I have found yet - just wondering what fell off on Deadman road that I don't know about! Damn that washboard was brutal.

Well we didn't see any parts on the road.

That was a bit wash boarded.
Can't imagine how it was in that old CJ.
All I know is we had a few spots that made the things go sideways.

Nice pics Jim thank you again for keeping up on the maps and such.
As well thank you picking up Aberham nephew.
No fun to ride in the back of the YJ let alone as tall as that boy is.

I enjoyed some nice conversation and yes - sitting in the back of a top-on YJ wouldn't have been overly enjoyable.

heh - I did comment to him - when you get home today you'll notice GRIT in your hair (no windshield consequences).

Small price to pay to ride along.
