my neighbor and I are gonna go up caribou trail on Friday. Heard something about it being closed. Does anyone know just off hand if it's open or not

It had a very late opening due to downed trees. They may be thinking of that. Boulder Ranger district shows it open.

I ran Caribou from Peak to Peak to Eldora about 3 weeks ago... Open then.

That switchback going down into Eldora is pretty sketchy and not for big trucks, I wouldn't do it. Caribou and rainbow lakes is totally fine however!

Thank you all, I did check it's web site and didn't say anything about it either, so, looks like my neighbor and I will do it. But his 4" lifted 71 Cheyanne 20 and my "elephant" will skip the down into Eldora part, thank you Matt for the heads up !!!
