    Default Buena Vista

Ran Antero today, nice day to cool down up there. Stopped in Tin Cup for ice cream afterwards and noticed a sign saying Tin Cup and Hancock are open only to ATV’s. Asked inside to learn both are still snowed in preventing trucks from getting through.

I’ll see for myself tomorrow about Tin Cup since it’s more likely to be open. One day can make a big difference. At least I’m hoping so. Obviously, if you’re thinking of heading here best to wait a bit longer.

I would love to run Hancock pass, I was up at the lake a week ago and saw very little snow, even up high, but I was on the south side of the pass. That's one of my favorite areas.

Tin Cup is open and I’m sure Hancock is as well. Cottonwood Pass is not open at the Tin Cup end by the reservoir due to construction.

Heard cottonwood via bushducks will be closed all summer. They are paving it. Major bummer! The paving.

The Cottonwood Pass sign in BV says it’s open. It definitely looks like paving operation, as if there’s a need for more pavement.

Hancock Pass is open. There’s very short section where one wheel is in the snow today. There’s a large, messy section where yahoos made a bypass. Judging from the bypass mess they would have had it easier if they went through the snow. Idiots.

How would they build a new Starbucks without more pavement?
