    Default 1975 Bronco Denver Edition

Last week I finally picked up my new project a 1975 Bronco I purchased this 9 months ago from a co-worker site unseen. The family were the 2nd owners and kept in their cabin in Canyon City. Its in really good shape for being42 years old, it has 113K on the 302. It also came with a rebuilt 351W that they never got around to putting in. The husband was a painter back in the day for both Ford an Chevy and was a "car" guy. I'm super Blessed to have gotten the time to spend a day with the family learning and asking questions over lunch about the Bronco. I have been gathering parts liquidating items and squirreling away every penny to get ready for this build. My plan is LCG, 2.5 lift on 35's with something around 100wb, here's what I have so far.

    • 1996 Explorer EFI
    • 1996 Reworked Explorer wire harness w/ re-flashed computer
    • 4R70W Transmission
    • GT-40 heads
    • 1992 Astro Hydro-boost
    • 1976 F150 HP-44, 9" matching set with disc brakes

Nice! I know you have some pretty good painting skills but you should consider just buffing the existing paint.

Thanks Michael. My plan is to keep the white and blue top original I more than likely will just have to repaint the orange to install/weld the small 1.5" tube flares I plan on putting on. just like the XJ only much smaller. And then clear-coat the whole thing. I need the tube flares in order to follow you and Aaron up the chutes! lol

Totally jealous! Nice score! Can't wait to see what you do this this one!

You won't need tube fenders if you dovetail it, narrow the whole thing, or just take the far right line...

Wow so little rust. It will be worth far more if restored to original. You can buy somewhat modified ones for far cheaper than what originals go for typically. In that kind of condition that's a easy restore.
