Unhappy 2017 Anniversary Run Food Planning

OK friends, this will be the spot to let us know what you might bring to the Anniversary run to share with other members. It's a pot luck, so whatever you want to bring is fine and if you only intend to bring your own lunch, that's fine too. On the list below, I will add your user name and any info you share. Please be sure to include the number of people in your party so we can get a good head-count and also tell what food items or other items you will bring. To begin this spreadsheet, I just counted one person per vehicle, so please post up and I will correct it. A simple way to let me know would be simply to post "I'll be there with wife and 2 kids" (that makes 4). Also let me know how much food you will be bringing, for example "16 hot dogs and buns". Feel free to bring other items that are not listed here!

    Thanks for contributing!

If someone is leaving a truck or trailer at the trailhead then I can bring some potato or mac salad as well. I don't have a cooler to keep it fresh during the run itself.

Sorry to say it will be store bought though.

I'm still down to volunteer my wife for homemade cheesecake. We'll likely have to cling wrap it tightly and keep it in the spring form pan to keep it in one piece. LOL

I think my headcount will be 3 total, I'll confirm that and get back to ya's!

I can mix it up more too, like 2 pks brats, 2 pk bubba burgers, 1 pk Johnsonville grillers.

I like that idea! You can change your mind again if you want to. I might change mine too depending on if anyone brings a grill or not.

I'll have a truck at the trail head, I can pack a big cooler with some ice to store stuff in at the trail head, a grill (road trip grill, great for lots of dogs/brats, not great for burgers) a propane tank and a couple big trash bags that I can haul out.

We'll be 4 but will pack separate food for the kids, so 2 eating.

Thanks to everyone that has replied and volunteered to bring something! We'll still need lots more "stuff", so for those who haven't replied, please do so if you can! Store-bought or home-made is just fine!

Well looks like we are going to be sitting this one out.
My steering has gone totally out.
Even with returning to the factory pump!

PSC pump was easy to install.
The cooler itself was easy.....hoses not so much.
None are tightly bent or pinched.
Every thing was fine for 90 miles or so.....
We were up in the guanella pass area.
Under up in some snow in 4low
    Not realy pushing it hard
    And poor.....no power steering
So here we are 4 days to be and the jeep is apart.
With busted new parts taking out good low mileage parts.

Well that sucks, Brandon. You could still do a ride-along with someone. No need to miss it altogether...

(I removed you from the list for now. Hope it's up and running soon)!

Yep - ride along with someone. That's what I might end up having to do...

Heater / blower / air controls assembly is out of the jeep - fiberglassing a crack - waiting for it to dry. Then to assemble and re-mount in the jeep. Wiring project underway before the dash can get installed. Install dash. Install roll cage. I think I can make it with the jeep - but the car is my backup plan. I do plan to be there one way or the other - I'm bringing plates & utensils!

We will have 4 adults and 3 kids, one eats like a small horse, we will be camping up there the night prior to the run just not at the TH, we will be up a little further.
We will add burgers and Brats/hot dogs for the cook out although we will have more stuff if needed at the campsite, trash bags, water, table, bbq etc..
will the cookout be before or after the trail run?

I'm looking for a rider. I've got an empty passenger seat in my Jeep, so I would be more than happy to have a spotter.

I'll have my back seat available (but the Jeep is a 2-dr - so a little hard to get in and out)! I'm hoping to be able to give my 12 yr old a driving lesson in the field right before the wall (if safe conditions exist. 4-lo and no other vehicles )

TJ - I got your message and added you to the list. It will be great to see you too! Thanks for your contribution!

Chris - WOOT! Glad to know you will be there! Bring whatever sounds good to you. So far, no one signed up for veggies or fruit, so that's an idea. Chips are always a good bet. Looks like the meat department might be covered! Just show up - that's all that matters!
