So I have done some replacement of parts.
My welded diff,was no longer in good shape
Had a few teeth with chunks.
I was looking to regear to 4.10 to match the tires
I changed the carrier at this time as well.
After shoping eBay for a few weeks
I found a d44 30 spline grizzly locker
This things goes for $900-1100
Got mine as an opened/scratch item.
$280 shipped
This is much like the Detroit
I hear it slightly when it locks from the power engagement with shifting.
You can here the ratcheting when turning in a parking lot.
My tune radius has come back
Its not pushing through the steering any more.
Tires should last longer for sure.
We will we hot loud it is on the trail.
