I maybe interested in T-33a Plane crash considering I have never done that trail. I'm not really sure what the snow will be like either but if it's going to be a winch fest I don't want to go.

Just A FYI, it is pretty drifty up in the high country still, like 13 foot tall drifts. I know a guy at one of my vendors and he said spring creek and red elephant still have pretty decent sized drifts to them. Not to discourage a trip but rather to inform.

China Wall should be clear. I was in that area over the long weekend and there was no snow to be found.

I'd have considered it. But alas, I have to go up to the to race packet pick up on Saturday because I'm running the Rockies Half Marathon on Sunday.

By the way the Anniversary Run on the 17th is to China Wall.

The glutches are usually clear. That might be worth a shot. Everything else seems to still be snowed in.

I haven't found anything on an official opening. Many of the FS roads that were closed in that area opened on June 1, some of the closest ones didn't close at all. Hasn't China Wall always been touted as a year round trail since it doesn't get much snow? Just getting back into this, but still looking for and respect road closures just the same.

Theres other trails in the area too if bill moore/red elephant dont pan out. The other side of I-70 has some playgrounds by idaho springs. Cascade creek is fun with no snow. Trail creek and south spring gulch, as well as ute creek (i think its ute creek? Its ute something anyway) are all doable and even fun with snow so might be a good back up?
