    Default Sun May 21?

Just testing the waters a bit for a short notice Sunday 5/21 run...The snow is going to be limiting for my jeep, but something that is pretty easy with a bit of snow might be interesting as long as its not a winchfest. Anyone got some ideas....maybe something along RRR-Dakan-Hidden Valley etc or something up north around Bunce? Really...I just rejetted my carb and was thinking about testing it out a bit.

I literally just checked out Bunce and there is a lot of snow on the trail right now. I didn't try going down the trail since I was alone, but it looked challenging! I might be interested in going however, as long as someone else was along to help get unstuck if and when needed.

Parachute Hill (about 5 miles north of Bunce) would be a muddy and snowy fun fest, as well. I was talking with my son just a few minutes ago about going there with my RAM and his '55 Jeep tomorrow.....

Thanks for the info....from what info I can gather there is probably more snow than I care to deal with just about everywhere.

Yes, I just drove up to Parachute Hill. It was plowed all the way but Parachute Hill road is completely covered in about 12" of thick snow slush. It will be slow going and tow straps & shovels are required but we may go see if we can get up the hill just for fun

Over three feet of snow at Ward...

Today was "THE MELT" in FoCo. We have a LOT of tree branches down with about 6" of heavy wet from the snowfall. Only plowed piles of snow remain in town - grass is clear.

We actually got slightly more snow than Ward, 42". Now the snow is melting fast so tomorrow should be fun clawing up Parachute Hill
