My first time going over Elephant Hill was as a passenger. I was in an FJ-40. The rest of our party were in a 1969 Landrover Series IIA, and a 1976 Scout II. We certainly got lots of looks and watchers!
love canyonlands.
cedar fity has some great trail as well
they run between zion an bryce canyons.
Brandon, you would make a great guide for a first timers trip to Moab! you do very well with our trips here in C.O.
That is probably my favorite run in the Moab area, has a bit of everything. Camping in Devil's Kitchen is bonus!

As much as the moab area has to o/fer, the saint georgevarea is far better.
I would love to take a trip, butvI have some things that require atention first.
So I have to settle for the red rock closer to home.
If anyone wishes to plan a trip to the west side of Ut I will bevhappy to introduce you to a local.
he lives closevto the sand hallow sreas. so hisvback yard is some of the best trails J ever got to use, let allow cal home trails for some time.
I would defiantly be in if I am available. The first trip out to Moab will be more of a sight seeing tour with very little in the way of trails, but after that I can see many trips west for some serious 4-wheeling and camping.
One of my favorite trips, we went back for a hiking trip a few months after just because we couldn't stop thinking about it:
