    Default Hacket;LongWater 3/11/2017

We went and ran most of Hacket (the was a down tree that blocked the trail just before the river) and got to the river on LongWater. There was a group with a chainsaw working on down trees on adjacent trail (don't know if they got to it). It was great to run with Chris, Mark and TJ yesterday. I am not very good with Videos but will post one of Chris if I can figure things out.

Yes, it was a very nice day! No snow at all on the trails. I was surprised how easy Hackett has become since last year, everyone walked rite up wit no issues whatsoever. Next time I might have to bring my big Stihl chainsaw!

We had a great time. I ran into the fire chief on the way out, he said he was going to get a crew on the downed trees, so the may be cleared before the next run.
    thanks for the great pics.

Nice pics! TJ did you do some body work on the 4runner? I thought it had diamond plate on the side. I don't see it now though...

Diamond plate still there. Just shot some rattle can paint and clear coated it, plate blends in more.

Looks like you all had fun. Was not expecting to see that much snow on the trail. Saw where you tried to explain where that downed tree was but would like to find out exactly what road it's on. My red runner, no way in H*** would fit under it. Silver 4runner, Mabey. Glad everyone made it out safe!

Google Maps calls it Trail Creek Rd., then it becomes W. Trail Creek Rd. It follows and crosses (several times) Trail Creek. It ends at Westcreek Road, south of the reservoir. I think the tree was less than a mile from this intersection.

Ok I know exactly where that is. I go up that way quite a bit. Looks like it's chainsaw season!
