Most all CJs have a drop down tailgate like a pick-up - makes the perfect seat and no need for such modifications. Some say its only a jeep if it has round headlights - might have to add drop down tailgate for it to be a jeep. Well...some of the early renegade packages came without tailgate and not sure about military applications...
