Met a new friend today
I was out in the parking lot at work today taking a break. A man driving a red 2013 Rubi Unlimited had parked next to me. I complemented him on his good taste in cars! We chatted it it up and he said he had been checking out my Jeep and really liked my tires, front bumper and winch. Long story short, he is a retired Fire Chief for the Evergreen Fire department. He likes to go off-road, but mostly for the camping aspect of it and he also hauls his AVT. I introduced him to our club and also mentioned Trail Damage as a reference for good trails regarding his interests. (He didn't like TD's name, but I assured him they are very respected and not at all what he was thinking)! When I told him about the activities of several reputable clubs he was pretty impressed. I encouraged him to join (stating his age made no difference to any of us).
