Holy cow, thats rite by my house!
That sucks. Good news is that it is a unique color that will make it easier to spot.
Hope you dont mind me putting this out on A Facebook 4x4 group
Well, got a call at 2:00 this morning that the Cherokee was recovered and is in the impound yard. Was told that it is "drive-able" with the door punched to open the lock and the steering column broken and damaged ignition. Will go pick it up this afternoon and know more then.
Thanks for the follow up!
Great!
Crankshaft position sensor interrupt switch on your mind?
Glad you got it back. Same thing happened to me a couple years ago. Having a kill switch (or two) is a must on an XJ, they are a very common target for car thieves.
Glad to hear you got it back. What a bunch of douche bags. I hope the damage is not too severe and you can get on the trails soon
