Likely will go, but still 2 weeks away. I will commit for sure as we get closer. Assuming it does not snow 2 feet between then and now.

Usually before a trip to that area, I check this http://utepasscams.com/ Gives good Idea of current snow level, the Divide and gold hill one is most helpful.

On my usual bi-weekly exploration trips to that area, decided to run partly down Metberry and Longwater just to check out conditions. Metberry will likely be a no go for me because of the super long ultra slick ice sheet that used to be a road. Wouldent be too bad if it was on a flat spot, but it's on a fairly good incline and around a corner.
I didn't attempt it, just hiked down to see it.
Went to the top of Longwater and was not too bad but again, did not get into the valley.

Open to suggestions. We could go up cedar, try longwater, if no go then trek from cedar across trail creek towards woodland using all 4x4 roads. Not to hard except for the ice that's up there, but it's generally short patches. It would make for a full day for sure. Just a suggestion. I did see several groups on Cedar running down towards the gulches. Saw some tracks on Longwater but did not go as far as Hackett to see if that is what everyone ran. Mine where the only tracks on Mettberry.

I'm not familiar with the area and I'm just looking to get out
Is the fire station till a good meeting place for all of those options
There could be 1-3" of snow Sunday morning
How does that affect the options?

The fire station is still good. IMO, 1-3 would make it fun! Even if you have open diffs and good tires you will be fine.

Unfortunately, the south is one of the only options if you want to wheel with snow thats not 6 feet deep. West, im assuming has a large amount of snow.

As you can see, the area is large and many trails to explore. The pic is WAY zoomed out to fit all the trails.

Sounds good! FYI, it takes almost exactly 2 hours from Denver to get there going Hwy 67 way and 1.5 going I-25.

Well, just came back from there camping and my weather underground app had a winter storm warning for up to 8" of snow. Some areas on the dirt road are pure Ice and snow on top of that may make things interesting. I am game to try but at the same time don't want any one or their rig in danger so mabey better to pass to a better weekend?

I was waiting to see if the weather would cooperate, I think next week end if weather permits will be better for me.

For now I am "kinda" still in, the weather report for Westcreek is .33" of snow, and Florissant is Weather winter watch with 5-10" of snow. Pretty drastic change for so little distance. I like wheeling when it's snowing so this will be a last second call.
