A nice family of 3 travels from New Mexico to Colorado via the Great Sand Dunes in a sweet 4runner / trailer. Learn the story of Smokey The Bear...

Nicely done truck, trailer & video. A quick guess at the cost of the truck/trailer setup comes around $75,000, am I close?

Probably. 4Runners are expensive for a reason! I'd guess they're both well employed, they sound intelligent and offroading in general isn't a poor man's game.

This is a very well made video, I would love to know what device they are recording with? Very impressive resolution.

And yes as for most this is a not a poor mans game, but that won't stop me!!!

I like these videos. I am looking forward to the rest of the series. My guess is sony action cam. I think it has a better outdoor image quality in good lighting. Here is a head to head vs Go pro.

In one of the vid's you can see a shadow of the camera on the ground. Full sized camcorder with large external mic attached atop.

Part 5: After conquering the "Infamous Rampart Range Road" they tackle the perils of Boreas Pass. JK, I might go for the easy stuff too if I was solo and had my wife and little girl along.
