Does anyone knows Bill Moore lake trail condition? I would like to run it Sunday if it is still open

Was up in that area last weekend and looks like snow is mostly on the high peaks and some shady areas. Went up to Georgia pass last weekend came down I-70. Hope that helps.
There was a just a bit in the shade towards the end of the trail a couple weeks ago. You'll see the 2 downed trees we had to move a week or so before that. You go right between them and it's a bit of a squeeze, but I'm sure even a full size could make it. We've not had any snow except on the peaks so I wouldn't anticipate any issues at all. Let us know when you're going, we might be able to join you. We're just up the road in Georgetown.
Thanks Chad, I'm thinking of Sunday, I'll let you know for sure
Louis, are you doing the Empire loop as well? I may consider going but I bashed my hard top on the red 4runner last time cause of a really big tree crossing the trail at a 45 angle. So I may not do the loop part just cause I won't fit.
Hey Louis, I am interested also. So I'm subbing. Keep us posted. Thanks David
No, I'm not planning on doing the Empire loop, to the lake and back only. Let me know, it would be great to get out before the snow.
Im in
Posted on calendar, let me know if anyone needs any meeting time change.
Hey Louis, I may bring the red runner. I need to run some of the fuel out of her before the end of the season. If that's the case, I will bypass Starbucks and head rite to the trailhead and just meet everyone there.
Just to clarify - the planned run is up to Bill Moore from Empire and back down? TJ referred to the 'Empire Loop' - is that what is also known as 'Mill Creek' loop? I am interested but its a big maybe whether I can go or not. Would be wheeling in comfort with the Tacoma - and it might not love some of the tight tree sections on Mill Creek.

Is this the trail head that you will meet us?:
39.772521, -105.683706
Yep.
That will work, there is enough space for two trailers at least, we will see you there around 9:20? give or take
I suggest we all met there so that you guys with trailers can find a place to park your trailers.
Take I-70 to Highway 40. Go north to the town of Empire. Turn right at North Empire Road (this intersection does not have a street light). Bear right at the fork where the trail starts -- do not follow FSR261.1.
