2016 Fall Cleanup Run
Sunday September 25th
9AM at Idaho Springs Ranger Station.
From I-25 take the Mt. Evans exit and turn South like your heading up Mt. Evans. Ranger Station is your very first building on the right.

We will be splitting up into 2 groups and doing cleanups on Barbour Fork and Devils' Canyon.

The rating on Barbour I would say is a bit dated. It's a solid 5 now on the low end I would say.

Please bring PPE (pants and long sleeves, gloves, comfortable shoes) as well as large trash bags, a bucket if you'd like to carry that and dump into the trash bags, and a lunch is suggested also. Devil's has not been open all that long so shouldn't be too bad, and I've run Barbour a couple times this summer and did not see much in the way trash either trip, bit to be on the safe side, plan on being on trail until 2-3PM.

If you've not gotten your 2016 run with the group, this is an excellent opportunity to earn your 2016 wheeler badge as well as volunteer badge. I always have fun at these cleanups and look forward to seeing everyone there!!

Looks like it is confirmed. As long as nothing pops up I will be bringing my big jeep and my 3 kiddos with me to this trail clean up.

are we having lunch on the trail? I can make sure i bring Poles and stakes we can set up a table and stuff under the Foxwing for shade and refreshments

Thats ok, I can bring some zip extensions. My awning will cover everyone if it rains. At least while we eat anyways.

Still a few days out but the forecast looks to be pretty dry but cool. Need a jacket for sure in the morning.

If you go in, go deep! I havent got to use my new winch for a recovery yet. Just pullin my wifes new saab on to a flatbed, some concrete, couple of dumpsters, a forklift, jku roof & a tree. Lol
