Come out to pi Ile with us. It will be a good learning experience for,you with your new ride."
I don't think I'll have the Jeep by the time Pickle Gorge is going on. I should be showing up mid July as best I can tell.
It really does seem like a great group. I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

What does D1 mean? "
I'm D1 on a new 2 door Rubicon."
Where are these Flat Tops you speak of (there's a lot to the area I can learn)?"
D1 is basically order accepted and scheduled to be built. To get a soft top alone in this state is a feat, but with my combo there wasn't anything like it, so I ordered from the factory.
What I know as the flat tops is the west end of the White River NF and the East side of the eagle Ranger district above Hanging lake and Glenwood Springs. Lots of trails up there, and lots of opportunities to fish. Not a ton of HARD trails but there are things like transfer trail, which will be good for me to progress on. I didn't dare bring the Subaru down that trail, I took coffee pot road up and then explored the less known trails above hanging lake. Very peaceful, didn't see another soul after the first day.
