Kind of wish I still had mine but I got a kick out of this ad as the owner tried to block the license plate.
Fail!

I've seen that one a lot - its half mile down the road from my house. Happy to give a drive by report if anyone wants.

I saw that one the other day when i started looking at some 80 series and thought of you Chris. I really did like your 62!
I'd still have the damned thing if I could get it to pass emissions!
You're looking for an 80 series now? My son has a '97 that's really nice. Kind of sucks to have a kid with a more capable truck than mine!

No way on any salvage title.
There things do have to be inspected by a qualified shop the get a title again but the insurance side of things gets sticky of sure.
Get any accident with it and wow here come the poo storm.
I had a '69 FJ55 with an AZ salvage title and had no trouble with title or insurance.

it depends why it was salvaged. my first jeep was an 88 YJ that was stolen and found 3 months later in the NJ Pinebarrens after insurance had paid for it. There was minimal damage, mostly it had been stripped. It was a great deal for me. I had an 86 FJ60, it was awesome. Slow, but awesome. If I ever got one again I'd have to do a v8 swap.
