Welcome to the group!
Any picture?
Any wheeling background? None is needed, though if you have some, it'd be nice to hear some stories. Any desire for trails - goal being scenery, finding places to camp, obstacles to get over?"
Thanks all.
Right now, just this one pic which was from the day I bought it. It's Skully's old rig that I'm slowly bringing back to life. My Expedition, which is bone stock, is in the background. For trails,I typically ride ATV's sport/and 4wd but after scraping the under carriage of the Expedition last year on a hunting trip I decided that was enough and needed something else that I could hop in and go hunting in without hauling a trailer/atv.
For Colorado trails, I drove Engineer Pass (that was easy) in a Super Duty, was a passenger for Black Bear, Engineer and Cinnamon Pass. Other than that, I really haven't done much offroading in CO other than your typical forest road stuff. I moved here from AZ about 5 years ago and did hit some trails down there in various vehicles I owned and on dirtbikes. I'm basically looking for medium rated trails that have great scenery and good places to camp and meet some cool people to do this with. Not sure if I have the patience for some of the gnarly stuff as I'll start thinking that I could just blast through this stuff on a quad or dirtbike.
Pic of my newtome Jeep the day I bought it. I'm sure a few of you are familiar with it.
