I drove up with Dan, and met Jim, then we headed over to the trail. Along the way we met up with Michael from the forum here, and another wheeler named Mark, who has seen the site before, but hasn't signed up yet.

A few from me...

I don't have any of the stuck - but from Max's set, the second picture is right about where the ?4Runner? was stuck. It was high centered / resting on the frame/belly. When he went to reverse out, there was NO motion to the chassis. Max snap-strapped him onto decently set snow.

Guidance for the vehicles backing up helped each stay on the packed two-track until each of us could get back to a wide spot to 4-point U-turn on the narrow trail. Falling off of the packed track found reasonably deep snow that was fine powder that made movement difficult (more snap straps from one moving vehicle to another). Once we were turned around, it was a fairly easy 10mph travel - though there were three spots that tried to catch us into a downslope slide.

Video works. YouTube changed things up with their odd / non-YouTube.com domain names in addition to needing to change "https" to "http". Make those two changes and all should work.

Good job helping out! Glad it was a relatively easy rescue and no one got hurt / no vehicle damage.

Looks like a good time! If I'd seen the thread earlier I may have even joined. Kudos for helping that guy out.
