I'm going to try and make it. I'm heading up from COS, so wouldn't meet in Conifer. Anyone heading up from COS? I suspect I could meet at the trail-head ...

Camping by the river will be 5-10 degrees cooler......
The trailhead is the optimal spot large fire pit and good flat area.
Its a good spot for a large group.

Soooooo, anybody dare to guess how long to complete this run with up to 30 rigs and a lunch time BS session? 4hr round trip for me and I work Fri & Sun so I'm thinking I already know the answer but so badly trying to make it.....

I always stop at the bottom of crow hill in Bailey and fill up at the conoco....As for how long the day last? Most are usually out by 5 ish

Last year the group's were well split, sending folks out in group's off 4/5 with stagerex starts is the way to vet's done.
Last year was a great turn out and our group 5 were having lunch at the wall in no time flat.
We played in the mud holes a lot, and carted around snow ball fights and all.
We were all ( the 5 trucks that were our group) at our place in Lakewood for dinner by 7pm.
