About a week ago or so, my husband got our minivan stuck on an uphill road in the neighborhood. Too much ice to handle. I showed up at the top of the hill in the Jeep and thought it would be an easy pull to get him up the hill. WRONG! I put it in Park I had the E-brake on and I had all of my body weight on the brake pedal but I was being pulled down the hill. I must be doing something wrong. If this should happen again, should I strap my Jeep to a tree before I begin winching? What am I missing here? I've still got good tires, but when you put them on ice like that... game over.
