SNOW DAY.BASH COME JOIN
This is for January 1st
If anyone has any ideas for trails I am leaning towards Pickle Gultch at the moment.
This will be snow run so expect snow. Lots on waiting an winching if this isn't you well see you on the next run :P
I have two people so far ready to go if anyone wants to join us let me know or if you have any other ideas out there let me know
(Problay one of the last runs for the TJ :( )

Has there been a lot of fresh snow down that way? I'm always interested in snow runs, and always keep it in my mind that a winch fest is possible, but I've never been invited to a winch fest before haha.

One of the problems maybe that the calendar doesn't go into 2016. I sent something to support last night but no response yet. I would start a planned run thread with info about the run.

Sorry been out at work all day. Run is Pickle Gulch we will meet at 8:30am in Littleton or 9:45 at the trailhead. Except to winch all day so far it me and a non forum going. I wanna cap the run at 8 people. Again this will be winch fest and or hours of back an fourth through snow if the isn't you than please don't come or come an don't complain lol. Last time we ran this it took 8hrs plus to go 0.7 miles we came out out at dark so just expect a long day an wet day. Otherwise I will have meet location for Littleton tomorrow.

just a suggestion: we've got about 8" on the ground, 2-3 of it was fresh as of Christmas. PG trailhead area is pretty deep still though because of the tree cover & the lack of traffic. if you want to have a little more fun and a better chance at actually making progress, I would start at the END of PG instead of the beginning. head up Apex where the road is wider. the snow is still deep there, but it's not so tight and you'll have an "easier" time than trying to fight the steepness of the start of PG. more people have been up that way as well, so there may be some better tracks laid to begin with. also more margin for error there as you won't be sliding into trees. if you can make it to the mine at the top of Apex, again, you'll have some open space to play and bash.
again, just a suggestion and what I would do if I was looking to play in the snow.

he is going to illinios gultch, and my add mettberry gultch.
the snow down there should be fun.
he may have issues with the step sections of metttberry if they go there.
