I could sign up for those!

I also wish to get some of the trails north of Hwy 14 - the "mud loop" trails - Bald Mountain & Green Ridge
    http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=274
    http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=273

Another trip to Red Cone for good measure.

I'll add Twin Cone too (never been and I hear there's a good 360 view at the peak)
    http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=38

`also wish to invite the nephews to join in on some runs.

Well worth the trip Tom, I ran Pearl for the first time a year (maybe 2) ago and really liked it. I'll definitely do it again. Shofield is fun too, I've run that a half dozen times and liked it except the last time when I cut a sidewall going down the Devil's Punchbowl section avoiding a bicyclist walking up. I don't think Barb will ever do that trail again after that. There's quite a lot to run in the area, we spent 2 weeks based in CB to hit everything.

Plan ahead for Pearl Pass, we started in CB and ended by Aspen which is probably the opposite direction recommended but fortunately there are options to stay off the pavement coming back to CB. Neither are particularly difficult despite the silly "killer trail" reputation of Schofield. Our friend ran everything in the area with a pretty much stock Grand Cherokee if that's any indication.

IIRC it was a year ago that Schofield had a huge rock slide that threatened to close it forever. It has since been cleared and I haven't any idea if that removed any of the challenge or not, I doubt it added any. I'm disappointed that Marble has changed so much over the years. It used to be possible to walk to the quarry but now it's gated probably a mile down the road. When we were there they were talking about building condos nearby and most of the marble blocks that lined the road have been salvaged.

I have some brief info here, someday I might get around to adding detail -> http://livingintheslowlane.com/pages/crested-butte-2014

so many trail on my bucket list. but the indy system and carnage are definitely on there. gotta make it out to moab this summer as well. not sure if my current rig is up for carnage or indy/patriot without quite a bit of winching. but may have something in the works before long.

Name the date and time and I will run them with ya. All fun trails. And if the little blue shop truck can handle them, yours will too

I just lucked out. The other club I am involved with just announced this week a trip in Aug to run
Day 1 Crystal Mill and Lead King Basin
Day 2 Schofield pass to Crested Butte.
Day 3 Free day in CB
Day 4 Pearl Pass if open or Taylor Pass if not. Both end in Aspen then home.

    Just made hotel reservations.
