    Default Grand Cherokee Guys

Might look at an 07 Grande Cherokee Limited. I t has the 4.7 V8 with 83,000 and looks to be in good shape. Owner says oil has been changed every 3000. Auto trans.
Any good? The price seems right. What kind of 4 wheel drive system would this have? It's on the net so I don't know if the guy still has it or not.
    Thanks for your expertise

I have allways heard and seen horror stories from Chrysler 4.7, heads usually fail on them from oiling issues such as oil slugging up even on lower mile engines. I'd be cautious your not getting something that has a known issue covered up by clean oil and additives. My rule of thum is stay way from 4.7 engines. If this don't help you make up your mind a lack of paper work showing that the oil was chage was actually done should.

I've heard this too... Might be good to stay away from that engine. Thanks for your input. I want a hemi anyway.

I'm looking at 2007 GC Overland. Has the 5.7 Hemi and I believe the Quadra Trac 2 because it has a low range and neutral for towing. 107k miles. Seems to have been well maintained, everything works good and that Hemi is one zippy booger.
Any input? I guess this is a WK?

Jim, that sounds like what a friend of mine has and he's real happy with it. He tows a heavy boat w/o any problem and also ran most of the trails in BV w/o issues.

    Sorry for the delay....

Best up is a Quadra-Drive II. Electronic locking diffs built in.

There are some other quirks but, looks like you are in! Welcome!
