Camping Areas Closed by Central City

I took an afternoon run up to the area on Wednesday and found that all of the dispersed camping areas on the way to the Columbine Campground have been fenced off and cleaned up, signs posted. In one of the pics you can see the remains of the fire pit behind the fence in front of my Jeep. I'm guessing shooting near the campground has something to do with it, I took pics of the no shooting near the campground signs, and the campground sign itself, shot to ****.

Figures. The asshats have taken over that area. Last weekend I heard OHV and shooters well into the night and first thing in the morning. This was up off Bunce.

It's sad that people can be amused for hours on end by making stick go bang. You've got to be limited for that to hold your attention for an extended period; shooting is really easy, it's easier than darts, slingshots, brushing teeth... a drillpress must be like going to Disney.
