Thanks for all the help and spotting today.had a great time and met some nice people.
It's always a good time.
I want to start by thanking everyone for volunteering their time to keep our trails clean! The USFS appretiate our efforts and the club as a whole appretiates our efforts!
I believe we had 15 rigs and 22 people show up! This has been one of the easier trips we have had. I only filled 1 bucket and brought out a tailpipe and some particle board. Lots more brass, apparently ammo is getting cheaper.
We headed out about 9:45 and were on trail shortly after 10. I led Devils Canyon with 8 rigs, we split into 2 groups of 4 with Chase leading the other group (thank you Chase!).
We had a opportunity to educate some folks and they educated us on a poached carcass!
The gentlemen who were shooting by this carcass were nice enough to switch to .22 while we were working. They also started policing up their brass while we were still there. After we left they switched to high caliber.
We cleared this tree from the trail.
Headed further up the trail and found this campsite empty for once. We were unable to haul out the table.
Top of the hill before the stairs.
Always looking down for trash.
Was a really beautiful day to be out!
After a quick lunch we parted with those who had to leave a little early and headed around the loop. Really uneventful and clean. Barely picked up any trash. Kaelan helped me push a tree that was blocking the trail. Found this tree partially blocking the trail.
Coming back up the other side.
This guy is my savior! A quick call on my way back down he saved me from getting stuck in traffic due to a rollover in I-70. This is Brandon from Rocky Mountain Overland (the other group I hang out with), he came to help out even though he's not a member on here,
Hidden Pat! Coming back down and out for the day.
Trail report is up! Feel free to add anything!
Thank you and yours for your help Mark!
Had a really good time, although there wasn't much to pick up. Did find a couple of beer cans though. Good to see some familiar faces and meet new ones. Made a small slide show I'm gong to try to put on here. No promises it will work.

Love the slideshow Jerry!
It was a good day for doing the clean up runs sun shining and not to much trash and brass to pick up. We had 7 rigs which included Gary who was in the lead, Sam and Dahlia, Jill, Dan, Scott, Shaun, my wife Debbie and myself. Started at the parking lot picked up some trash and aired down.
We stopped a one camping sight and had a few extra helpers Dahlia named them Rainbow Dash and Jake (not from state farm and he wasn't wearing khakis). You can see where at least one vehicle did go off trail so we dragged some tree branches over towards the trail to hopefully deter others from doing it.
Who's says it is all work and no play....gotta play!
and a few more, did have one sign marker destroyed.
and some more
They do exist, Sam's cookies
And now just some pics along the trail
and a few more
