Default DX and LX Series Light Bars from JADFab!

Looking for some additional light on or off-road?

We at JADFab would like to introduce our DX and LX Series of Dual Row CREE LED Light Bars.

These LED Light bars are equipped with CREE LED's (not Epistars).
All Light Bars come with side mounted feet and mounting hardware, as well as a complete plug and play wiring harness.

General Specifications for all DX and LX Series Bars:

    - Operating Voltage: 10 - 30 DC
    - Waterproof Rating: IP67
    - CREE LED's (3W each)
    - Color Temp : 6000k
    - Poly Carbonate Lens
    - Combo Spot/Flood Beam

As well, all light bars come equipped with military style breathers to help keep your light sealed and leak free.

Q: What are Military Style Breathers and what do they do?

A: With changes in temperatures and/or changes in altitude outside or inside the light, changes in pressure occur in fully sealed lights. Without the ability to “breathe”, the waterproof sealing could be compromised due to these pressure changes and thus allow moisture in. The military breathers fix this pressure issue by allowing air to move freely in and out of the light without allowing moisture or other materials in.

Q: What makes us different than others?

A: We spent nearly three months sourcing, sampling, and testing nearly three dozen different manufacturers’ lights. Just like with many companies domestic and abroad, with similar products, not all are made alike.

Q: What is the difference between the DX and LX line?

A: The LX lines have additional/different optics and reflectors to give the LED beam a wider output, instead of the “standard” pattern. This does reduce the distance of the light slightly. These are ideal for those who are more concern about spread to the left and right, than overall distance.

As mentioned above, each light comes with a COMPLETE plug & play harness. The harnesses have:

    - Weatherproof / waterproof connectors
    - On/Off Switch
    - Blade Fuse and Fuse Holder
    - Bosch Style 5 Prong Relay
    - Ring Terminals for Power/Ground Connections
    - 10 Feet of Wire between Light Connector and Relay
    - 10 Feet of Wire between the Relay and the On/Off Switch

Now, how about what really matters: Light Output!

As a note, all of the following pictures were taken with the same exposure and ISO levels. In order to do this across the spectrum and not "white wash" the photos when it came to the 42"+ bars, the exposure had to be turned down some. This does make the Jeep XJ OEM headlights look a little more anemic than they might be normally.

Here are some comparisons to show the difference between beam pattern between the DX and LX, as well as the 50" DX bar and the 50" Curved LX Bar.

I often tell people that while certain "cheap" LED Bars off two certain un-named website's might be appealing...it can be a bad gamble. Here is a great example of what I mean. This customer bought a 32" light bar off one of these websites.

Not long after his return period went out, the LED's on his bar started to go out one by one. He had lost a total of 9 LED's by the time he messaged me. He was already a little leery of cheaper bars, which is completely understandable. So, after talking with him for a while, of went one of our 32" DX series light bars.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. The first photo is of his "bargain" LED light bar. The second set of photo's compared that 32" bar, to our 32" DX bar. In his own words "No comparison". Let's just say he's quite a bit happier now, and has a 1 year warranty to boot

14" bar mounted on the bumper hoop of an MJ, fits perfect! (with a '97+ conversion).

What is the distance between the mounting feet on the 8", 14", and 22" bars?

I'm guessing you mean the hole to hole mounting width between the feet?

I can get exact measurements, but for a "rough" but still within ~.25":

    - For feet facing outwards, add 1.5"
    - For feet facing inwards, subtract .75"

For example, the hole to hole mounting width on an 8" bar with the feet outward would be right about 8" + 1.5" = 9.5". Inward would be 8" - .75" = 7.25".

    Gotcha, makes sense!

Since your local (or you used to be), I'd more than welcome you to come by and take a look and do some dry fitting to see it anything would work.

My mounting tabs range from ~11.5 to ~12.5" so it seams none of them will work. Maybe I'll pick one up for my truck or my JK if I ever get the front bumper installed.

Ah ok, yeah that's an akward mounting width. Closest would be the 14" at ~13.25" but that's still out. Yeah let me know if you end up interested in one for something out and i'll see if there's anything that won't work for ya!
