Default residential driveway plowing - Evergreen

It's still snowing and I'm pretty much "snowed-in". About a foot for the most part, but more than that in some areas. I tried to go out and shovel, but that lasted for about 5 minutes... just too much! And it's coming down strong again! I'd like to get the driveway plowed. I can pay, I don't expect it for free! Below is a pic that I took this morning, but we have had more snow since then. (Just the driveway, not the street. I'm guessing 25 yards long).

Jackie - you need to buy a snowplow, or a big snowblower. We have some friends who have lived in the hills for years and keep on old truck (no license plates) around with a plow on it year round. It is only worth $1,000 +/-, so it has earned its keep. If interested in a snowblower, I have a large one I would make you a deal on. Not as good as a plow, but it sure beats shoveling.

My neighbors use these guys. http://evergreenlawnsnow.com/snow_removal/snow-plowing/

In many of the neighborhoods I have plowed for, there is always a local who is just running around on with a plow on his truck who will be more than willing to help. But it is typically very expensive. I cant even tell you how much it costs to maintain my atv, let alone a truck.

Looking at the driveway, your looking at a minimum of 50$ Im guessing 100$.

Yeah, Paul doesn't live too far, but this isn't urgent for me. I bet he's making bank today! I don't want to bug him! This surely isn't the "end of the world"! (I can't wait to get pics of Britton trying to get up the driveway in the Jeep when he gets home tonight)! He got cranky with me on the the phone today and told me to go back out there and shovel...YEAH! Hell-of-a-lot-of-good that is going to do. "Look honey , I cleared 3 feet"!!!

Sounds like a good time to do some snow bashing.

That is exactly what happened today! Britton lasted a few minutes with a shovel and then decided to use the Jeep to bash instead! It looked to me like he was having fun! But he got the van freed up without much trouble. Now the snow we are expecting this weekend has me a little concerned because of the possible ice build-up. I'm thinking I should pre-treat prior to the storm.

I used to love snow bashing the street in our old neighborhood. But it was easily walkable and there were plenty of folks appreciative of you smashing their snow banks in the street and willing to help you out if there was a "stuckage issue". Not so much the case here. Not that they wouldn't be willing to help, but in many cases, they are simply not home.

Call me if you need help getting out, you are a short drive from me. I don't have a plow though so I can't help there
