Default What tires can I fit

So I'm looking to get new tires in the next month or two, and I want to know how big I can go. I am currently running 235/75/15. I have an 87 Hardbody with a 3 inch BL, and have about 5 inches between tire and top of fender, and 3.5 inches between tire and sides where it could possibly rub. Any input is welcome!

Almost all tire stores will try bigger tires for clearance..
As long as you get your tires from them.

I'm a survive coordinator at a local tire shop and you may have some rubbing but as long as your not afraid to do some trimming if you have to, you should be fine.

31x10.50x15 was a factory size. With a 3" lift you should be able to run a 33 of some sort. It also depends on the off set of the wheels you are running.

I don't know if I've ever fitted 33's on this truck but is anything I would be afraid on rubbing the narrow arches. I get this problem with newer 4 runners and thoughs alike all the time. I know its a completely different truck but the same areas would rub. But 33's are defiantly your best bet. If you choose to add wheel/hub spacers make sure its a good quality. This is so critical.

I would say 33x10.50s should fit with no problem other than a little rubbing
