Revival from the dead. Project is not moving yet but very soon. We have decided to have the trailer sprayed with bed liner. Going to coat the inside for a more durable finish. Mounting bracket for passenger tail light has been welded on but needs to be painted. Will do that when touching up white. This summer should allow for us to get back on this project. Will have it mobile and being tested out as a trailer. We are still unsure what tent we want but I don't expect that to be on the schedule for this year.

The trailer ended up packed away in the back of the portable garage making it a pain to get to. Emptied everything out and traded for the smaller 10x10 portable shed. Now with trailer out and accessable got some things rolling. Got bracket for passenger side tailight painted. Insulated the wiring in nylon tubing. Had to drill out path on passenger side. Connections got coated with liquid rubber to seal out corrosion. Used velcro strap to secure wiring to tongue. Will use an extension plug on wiring so in case it snags up on a trail it can unplug from both ends. Needs a plate and some reflectors to be street legal again.

Finally got the trailer to Brucker Brothers for him to do his magic. Trailer is going to be in use this year!
He framed up the top and repaired tongue that was bent. Put hinges on top for lid to open from the side. Sorry pictures uploaded out of order.

He extended the drop leg for the new height on trailer. Framed reinforcement for the top and installed locking latches. Again pictures are out of order.

Brucker's work is always so nice. What is the scissor lift frame / jack for?

The tent has an annex room so the bottom of tent needs to be at 72" off the ground. During transport I didn't want the tent setting up higher than the Jeep so it lowers for transport and then gets raised into position for setup.

Got the trailer back today and opened up the tent to start getting the bedding in just see how set up goes. Did it on the concrete so we didn't get the annex fully stretched out to full size but it is going to give us a lot of room. Already planning for future mods. Getting it's maiden voyage here very shortly. Will add some more photos once it is fully set up in the wilderness where it belongs.

Got trailer out and in use over the weekend. Learned it is better to have the tent opening downhill on a slope to keep max height in the annex. Overall worked great and stayed a bit warmer than old tent. Pulled silent and smooth. Really like how quiet the loc n roll hitch stayed. Threw in a couple climbing pics.
