IronClads?

Thinking of making a run of IronClads on Saturday (9/6). I want a close trail to do a shake-down to test my new cable-shifter. Will probably start at Camp Dick and take Bunce Road over and may incorporate T-33A Plane Crash as well before IronClads. I've heard the terrain on Plane Crash has changed and its a bit more washed-out which sounds fun. I've not run IronClads before so will be a new adventure.

Anyone interested in this trail run? Would plan the meetup at Camp Dick at 10:00 and plan to start the trail at 10:30. If so, I'll get the run posted.

Ironclads has been on my mind recently. A jeeping friend (with family) may enjoy checking out the crash site as well.

Hey everyone; I've rescheduled this event until next Saturday (9/13) as I've had some things come up and I'm unable to run it tomorrow and will plan on next weekend instead. Additionally, only one other member had RSVPd for certain.

If anyone else that was on the fence wants to make the run for certain, just coordinate your own plans.

For anyone running with us at IronClads and T33A tomorrow; I did cap the run at 6 but certainly not going to turn anyone down from attending. Even if we have more than 6, it should be quite manageable. Its just the last time I ran this there was literally 15+ rigs and it was a bit of a nightmare with the leader stopping constantly, and then trying to turn around at the end with the other trail traffic.

For those with questions on the meetup location; the actual coordinates are 40.131651,-105.509616. Hwy 72 to Camp Dick and the Bunce Road (meetup) is just inside the camp at those coordinates. I'm coming from Frederick and will head West; anyone wishing to meet earlier is welcome to join me. My cell is 515.418.2536. Looking forward to the trip!
