do not show subalpinesBOSS. I want to do that trail someday.
It was the Jeep in front of me.
Really nice guy. Don't think that JKUR had 10k miles on it yet.
Went too far left, flopped right, momentum carried him over the edge.
Driver and passenger were the only occupants. Their lives were saved by seat belts (their hats and glasses were ejected).
Buckle up out there boys.

This was right after the water crossing, before the tightest switch backs. There is a rocky staircase descent that is a bit "blind" as all you see is your hood and not the trail. His left tire walked up too high and flopped him right... Then over. Rolled 3 times.
I was the jeep behind them as we were descending... We stopped at the stairs to give them room, so I didn't see it roll, but I came up on it after it had just settled.
i helped the driver and passenger scramble back up and we helped them haul out their stuff
I am glad to hear that nobody was severely injured or worse.
Wow!
thats crazy you were there.

Saw that on the news. Glad they are ok. Good lookin out Brett!
It wouldn't have taken them long to get to Telluride.

Good to see that there were no serious injuries. I think that would qualify for a pucker factor of 10.
