    Default Recoveries gone bad

Post vid's of recovery jobs that went "not as desired". There are too many of them - perhaps kick in with your favorite vids or those with sound educational value.

Please note an "NSFW" comment should there be swearing or injury/death.

"full of stupid"... That XJ recovery, can I really call it that?, was painful to watch. Missing recovery items: brains, shovel, hi-lift or jack, having the ability to utilize surrounding items: tree branches and rocks, winch (2 vehicles would be best for this reco), and brains. It was painful that out of that many people none had any real ability but the truck owner and a recovery strap, but the truck guy is an idiot too.
This thread is good, we can all learn from others mistakes. These kind of recoveries can turn deadly, quick.

I was waiting for the strap to break and someone get seriously injured or worse.

Why spend 2 minutes with a shovel when you can just give a friend a tug?

Saw these poor kids around the corner from my house, I asked them if they had tow straps (their friend not stuck was there to help with a full size) they said they had ratchet straps. I told them I would be back with real tow straps if they were still there after I picked up dinner. Well the blazer was still there but no bodies in sight lol

    Poor little straps

Too bad, one tug from a "real" strap and they would be back on the road.
