Plus the weather looks to be moving in.
The Gulches down near Woodland Park are great this time of year. Yes it's a drive but anything along I-70 is going to be snowed in for awhile yet.

Just looked on the FS page - when did Kingston Peak get gated? I have not been up there in years.

Steve, I posted a trip report about it, Kingston Peak Stewardship Run, Page 9, thread 22. Sucks for sure, especially since other places are being closed now too, this will lead to inevitable closure of existing open trails because of over use
