Default King of The Hammers Buggy Build!!!!

This will most likely be my last build on FR but I figured Ill share it and keep track of updates on here!

we took a YJ frame, extended couple feet front and back for some great wheelbase for the go fast stuff! Took it out to oklahoma for one of our sponsors to source a block and front and rear axles.

The rig was supposed to run 2014 KOH but due to legal issues we didn't get our hands on it again until about a couple weeks ago and have been going at every day since!

Front and Rear is now 4 linked, we tried to get away with not running a trackbar up front, but it is near impossible since our class spec doesnt allow to run full hydro. while its doable with enough triangulation, the bump steer at high speeds through deserts would just be too scary, and not something we want to deal with.

Heading out east to pick up the chasis and parts!!

parts getting loaded onto my tow rig. A lot heavier than it looks, 2 pallets worth!

The shop we picked it up from was in Arkansas Missouri Oklahoma corner, on our way back we stopped by 4wheel parts in Tulsa to pick up a brand new set of awesome tires and get our trailer tires inflated some more

    Here's some of the goodies!

from this point on, the build has started!

we made a custom dashboard to fit digital gauges and lawrance navigation unit
    this is new vs old

we are doing custom carbon fiber wrap on it.. should add another 500 hp to our LS v8

next thing was to finish burning in the cage and give it a coat of paint to not have to struggle with rust and crap. Tractor did great for that purpose!

Also welded on and threw some paint of fuel cell holder! rotopax fuel / water cans will be mounted to each side of the fuel cell bracket

Started setting up fuel cell, cage went in.

Mounted coilovers and finished everything up in the rear end, mounted beadlocks and the back end is near complete

    onto front end....

    Thanks guys

BILL!! I will need those driveshafts made just as we talked, sorry it took so long, like ive mentioned, we just got the rig back!!

also, would it be cheaper to lengthen one of the driveshafts we have for my zj, or replace yoke on the one you built me last year?

Well.. we got the beast FIRED UP!!! man, that LS1 roars!!!!!

I personally hooked up the NP201 Doubler from NorthWestFabWorks along with their cable shifter. Apparently it was not meant to work with a Ford style NP201 and Chvey's 700r tranny.. but we made it work!

The tranny shifter also in place! pics coming up! If all goes well, next weekend we get to test drive that sucker!

    Alright I got some pics!

alternator in, water pump in, tensioner set.. 3 belts later we got the right size!

working away at the cable shifter kit!

Beadlocks mounted.. 6 rims and tires, 32 bolts a piece and roughly 5 times each.. holy workout!

Time to cool this thing down!

A lot of time goes into documenting a build, after having done a KOH buggy, what else might one do? There also isn't a whole lot of interest I. Builds vs other stuff so few things considered this will most likely be last one here
