Tube and pipe are measured differently, but JD2 makes dies for both. I believe the main difference is tube is measured by OD and pipe is by ID. In other words, 1/8th wall tube and 1/4 wall tube will have the same diameter but the ID will shrink, and pipe is the opposite. This means if you want to bend 2" schedule 40 and 2" schedule 80, you would need two separate dies. In all other ways, it is the same though. I won't really argue the pipe vs. tube in a roll cage thing except to say that pipe is a pressure vessel and tube is designed to make structures (like a roll cage), so I personally prefer to go with tube. This is especially true since a given tube die will do many different thicknesses.
Finding a bender isn't too hard, but finding one with pipe dies will likely be a bit harder. If you are dead set on using pipe, then I suspect you'll have to find a used bender and buy a new die for it unless you get lucky.
