The one time i got stuck I had nothing lol no other vehicle no phone signal got stuck on a friday night in the woods all by my self right as the sun started to drop. Sure you all will see the damage out on the trail when we meet up. Have yet to fix anything body damage wise. Plan is to roll with others from now on. lol Even know I wasnt all that bad off even know i had shorts a tank top and it gets cold in the woods i tore my bikini top on the jeep down to cover up with and didnt fix it when i walked out the next morning lol was super funny on my arrival back with help it looked like a bear went through my jeep. I just said nope thats how i left it. GOOD TIMES!!!
Let's see. Tools, water, 125-200 & 1,750 watt power inverters, 110v wirefed welder , extra ujoints, air pump, 500lumen flash lights. Trans fluid, diff fluid. 3 5 gal totes lots of D-rings. Farm & 8ton bottle jack. Tarps and spare metal, cordless lithium ion 18v hammer drill & impact gun. Metal grinder, safety glasses and some random stuff. + a buyout bag & Zombie Apocalypse bag.
My cell phone.
An ounce of prevention, don't leave home without it.
Bear in mind, I am a very conservative driver. If I feel my equipment is not up to a trip, I won't go. If I think I can break parts doing something, I won't do it.
For the vehicle:
Fire extinguisher.
Toolbox.
A box filled with electronic sensors, actuators and relays.
Spare serpentine belt, hose menders, hose clamps.
Electrical kit.
Tire kit.
12 Volt compressor.
Spare tire.
Floor jack & Sheet metal.
Farm Jack (depending).
Recovery kit.
Come-a-long.
Shovels.
A few gallons of distilled water.
For the people:
More water, I'll drink the distilled too (if the vehicle doesn't need it).
Enough carbohydrates and extra layers to spend a night in the woods.
First aid kit.
Two way communication.
Maps.
Fire.
Assorted cutlery.
That is all I can think of or now...
So far just first aid kit , u joints and a spare tire. Need to get hi lift jack the factory one doesn't even get the tire of of the ground.
With all that stuff packed into your rigs, where do you guys sit?
I love this thread.
Surely someone brings a hydraulic lift?

In a never ending search for the proper mix of dirt & rock !
Na, that would put my rig way over capacity. Its just a 4runner. The hydraulic jack is in my Ford Expedition.
Actually I do carry bailing wire along with friction tape, shovel, fire extinguisher, flashlight, extra coat, gloves, hat, gators, tools, first aid kit, tp, air compressor, tire plug kit, re-sublimed iodine (water purification that doesn't deteriorate). I don't carry extra water while wheeling in the CO mtns, but do when in dryer climes.
