Anniversary Run Food Planning

Friends: The purpose of this thread is to coordinate all food/drink/paper goods/grills/etc. items that you are planning on to bringing to the March 8, 2014, Anniversary Run on China Wall.

If you responded as a "Yes" for the run, please indicate here:

• How many people in your party
• What you intend to bring to share (and please use numbers such as "8 hot dogs/8 buns" or "tater salad for 12" or "COOKIES for 50"!)

I'll post up a spreadsheet that lists what everyone posts so everyone can see what is missing. Remember that paper plates, plastic utensils, garbage bags, grills, tables, EVERYTHING useful for an outdoor BBQ is needed.

Have a WeberQ grill and propane for it. Also bring a package of burgers, hotdogs, and buns and Garbage Bags. I saw that on the spreadsheet.

Don't know if I'll do the whole trail or not, but I will do what I can.

Can make a batch of chili and bring the fixin's cheese, sour cream, fritos and bowls.

I have two tables that I could bring 1 single card table and and a folding table if needed.

@Jarold and anyone else with doubts about their capability - you will have no trouble with this trail especially since you are with this group. I have done it 2 or 3 times and have always chosen the bypasses (I'm not the only one who did) It really isn't (or wasn't) difficult. Everyone is willing to spot you. I don't know what the trail conditions are right now, but if it wasn't damaged by flooding and it's not covered in ice, you'll be fine. If conditions are bad - you will be advised by other members with more experience and they will not hesitate to advise you NOT to attempt certain things. No one gets left behind - ever. Everyone goes home with a full belly! It's a fun day!
