Doing a little research into what people have done for lifts for their Scouts...here are some starter links..one of them mentioned using CJ 4" springs which are cheap...See what you think:

    http://forums.4wheeloffroad.com/70/6...elp/index.html

    http://forums.4wheeloffroad.com/70/6...help/index.htm

I just googled 'international scout lifts' and a whole slew of suppliers popped up. The links that I posted discuss what people have done, SOAs, problems and various other suspension alternatives. This is the stuff that I usually try to find researching my junk as it contains answers to problems and what people did to fix them. It is a little tedious sorting out the chaff sometimes, but there are gems of info in there, too. There are also links to other sites on these links as well as some additional contact information that looked good. I didn't list any of the number of people that were selling springs, lift kits, or body lifts. If you want to research this, simply google what I did.

    Hope that these help.

It is their fault that I found you guys. they have been down for over a week now and I was bored and looking for another place to find info and poof I found not only a great site but one that is close to home. Just a quick addition to the list of IH sites. There is a wonderful heaven in Grant Colorado called Coonrod's. No website and Mr. coonrod is not going to get one anytime soon, his words, but you can call him at 303-838-8505 bring a lunch and leave the phone off the hook cause I always say I am just getting one thing and come home with a truck full. He does ship.

Modifying your IH distributor for fuel injection. Go to the fuel injection section. Once again this did not post as a link directly to the page.

    http://www.binderplanet.com/forums/showthread.php

This is for a better ECM, tunable using a laptop. Dynamic Fuel Injection modifies factory GM ECMs for most conversions using GM TBI or MPFI.
